I went down to Stortford Lodge in Zoe, a visit to the blood test centre then a couple of coffees and a strange confection from Fuse, another coffee shop. Popped next door to the little general store and got Karola a paper – it seemed so meagre, just a paper, that I bought a small brown paper bag of local potatoes as well. I don’t think buying the paper or the potatoes was of any consolation to the Indian gentleman who seems to spend his life behind that counter.

Inside work until mid afternoon when I began to mow the Goose paddock with the Grillo. It is effective, picking up the leaves and mowing very neatly. Unfortunately I broke something after an hour or so of mowing – hydraulic fluitd sprayed out of one of the struts and the catcher refused to go up.

Caled Outdoor Power and they’ll let me know tomorrow when they can come and pick it up – it’ll get its first service at the same time.
