Cars and Trailers

First I went into Hastings for my 8-weekly $32 haircut.

Later Karola checked that the two new tyres needed for her car had arrived from Auckland and then took the car in returning early afternoon with tyres in place and wheels balanced.

Meanwhile I spent an hour or so on the trimming of the Casurina shelter belt. With Henare’s initial help I really am half way in pruning the north side up to head height.

After lunch Karola planned to take her Cyclone trailer in for a long overdue WOF but I noticed that it wasn’t licensed either. A couple of phone calls and online relicensing and Karola was on her way. Unfortunately we still don’t have a WOF for the trailer, it needs to have new rear lights apparently.
