After breakfast I did a spot more pruning of the windbreak and then we all got ready to go out on the town – the town being Havelock North in this case. Meanwhile Gill had booked a film for us at the Globe Theatrette in Napier on Wednesday evening – In Search of Chopin.

We met up with Peter and Charlotte at Yabon, the french bakery shop in Havelock North, and had coffee and brunch before a spot of shopping. Back to Karamu for Gill, Karola, and me and a quiet afternoon. Karola moved electric fence so that tomorrow she can give her ewes another strip of fresh grass.

Meticulous Maids came and cleaned the cottage mid afternoon.
