Karola had doctor’s appointment in the morning and also did the Friday shopping.

The late morning was absolutely beautiful – sunshine and cool with gentle breeze. Bramble and I enjoyed it on the verandah.

Mid afternoon I mowed the cottage lawn etc – in case Henare wanted to come over and help on Sunday – the usual time I do it. Henare has since TXTed to say he’d not be coming this weekend.

Karola did more emails and letters before cooking a scrumptious lamb roast then settling down to watch some Wimbledon tennis I’d recorded overnight.

I struggled on with my programming.
