Septic Tank Woes

End of the week. Mark who has flu did turn up today, so he’s apparently on the mend, but is keeping out of my way to avoid contagion (his word).

Bridget and I had a bit of a lie in and at lunchtime she took me to BP for coffee and apple turnover while her car charged up in my garage. Then we and the dogs went over to Summerset Palms where Bridget had a planned meeting with Jodi while I and the dogs sat in the car. An hour later Bridget drove us to the dog park where both dogs had a welcome short walk before returning home for dinner.
Another little egg from my chooks today.
Man came to do maintenance on our cottage waste disposal unit – modern septic tank. He found that it was all blocked up and within a few flushes of being unusable so his afternoon was spent emptying it onto the paddocks nearby and booking an electrician for Monday to come and fix the malfunctioning electrics. The smell was really bad mid afternoon but that passed by dinner time.
