<\/head>a) the very quick way to look at DOM with Web Inspector using Safari or Chrome is – how did I not know this – to right-click on the element of interest and select Inspect Element. That saves me laborious clambering through hierarchy each time I want to inspect – it opens Web Inspector at the element currently chosen. Brilliant. Chrome works in similar way.<\/p>\n

b) how to see attributes when hovering, eg. Well just do the right-mouse thing while the element is hovered and Safari freezes the state and shows you that (allegedly). Chrome has a little pull-down menu where you can select the state you want to examine, Hover, Active etc.<\/div>\n

c) Chrome acts on the <input> attribute “required” and pops up a little msg.<\/div>\n
